Swans Dance, Roses Bloom Like Mad

by Tatsu Akiba

David Markfield Wonderful CD with roots in Prog's glory days. With a heavy use of flute and acoustic guitar it nods towards Prog's more pastoral side such as Genesis, Gentle Giant, Yes, Tull and Greg Lake. However, on tracks such as the GG influenced Host of Heroes it totally takes wing and is much more aggressive. Highly Recommended!! Favorite track: A Host Of Heroes Rising In The East (With Torches Of Glory In Their Hands).

mark guenther Fine album. Reminds of Mr. Sirius -Barren Dream (with male vocals) and Voyage Of The Acolyte. Can't wait for what's next. Favorite track: A Host Of Heroes Rising In The East (With Torches Of Glory In Their Hands).

Chasing a butterfly, I was chased by the wind Though I gave up seizing the blue sky, feel satisfied in my mind Everything has the end, goodbye my sweet friends. Inside of the house, only views through the windows left I am a horse, I am not a cowardly mouse I can sit still not at all No need to worry if get lost in the deep foggy green Sweet scene… In the morning I leave home In the day struggle in the swarm In the evening keep escaping from the dusk Young men mature in this way All the disaster over me just come from my own greenness There is no time for me to rest The flow of time flies like arrows Lead me to where I can sleep and be soothed Tides of men wash me; my hearts not be smoothed Seems like I might lose myself in this mist My hands are cut by leaves which dewdrop kissed Only the Loneliness is always with me Why do I fail to find the light I’ve ever seen? Lead me to where I can sleep and be soothed Tides of men wash me; my hearts never be smoothed

Blitish casquede washes away my inner shade and it softly aids Full of life, this blue in green is animated Here’s the place which wants me and I have wanted A mother goose flies for her children’s meals A mischievous fawn plays with his heals I can feel our mother earth breathing To make them my scale, be a part of her wings You’re not what you eat but what eats you Keep on getting out of the world I know Still I don’t need a pen and paper Can’t write down the things which turn to vapor There old men feeding them and both smile I will learn from their good lives for a while But I can’t end my life here so leave here soon Here comes the cold dusk of a suite of tune To find myself, got to get lost now Follow shade of day to find light of the night Clear curtain to be covered with green curtain Flow forever inside of me, Blitish casquede Blitish casquede washed away my sweet shade and it softly aided

Brigid's Hut 03:01
“I’ll give you harvest for your hunger and half of it is always at your home” What’s deceiving my eyes? “No one is telling lies” ‘Once upon A time…’ started an old rhyme Fantasy! “No, no” Fantasy! “No, no, no!” Where does the light penetrate clouds? “Be yourself, and endowed” How can I be myself, good lord? “Just regain all lost cords” Got rather than lost them This, that, here, there Everywhere I’ve gathered cords cut by no one’s swords Memories can never be stored at the bank “But the truth of your life is in your heart tank” (But the happiness no effect on the rank) “See that way you came Many overflow your hands After all, you can’t digest You can’t retain ― this is real harvest” “Open your green eyes” Open my green eyes “Don’t be afraid to fly” Won’t be afraid to fly “What you see and what you hear and every single second you breath make yourself alive” “Be a denizen of green” you saying? “Once get back home before torches light you”
5.
There’s a man in a kilt singing out Hearing what we were talking about So I asked him what he shouted All he said was “Welcome unexpected!” Two of us both leave loneliness But another precious thing seemed to follow it ‘Don’t you need bagpipes?’ softly I asked “Life is jazz,” gently he returned “In ancient time, there an old marshal reign Versed in tactics of tradition and brain His army’d won for so long years - not lost! They’d got gold prize - always at all cost But he was ignorant of how young men fight Once brown-eyed men came in the night They had other armor and swords So he and his men’s blood ran as roads” “Can you see this epic’s lesson?” he asked Young ways killed old ones but the old killed the young “So if I kept having that old bagpipe That will kill me, Improvise your life”
6.
I can see a red bright light and I can hear a systematic army-like footstep Maybe it’s a folk music band It’s a tradition, but to me It’s so green Having made my mind I belong there I remember what Brigid said - “Get back while it’s bright” But the light I saw may be that which I’ve been searching for She was wrong, I am right Now move forward! Here will be our yard Don’t doubt your own part be to tear our chain apart Ten o’clock! Look! Smash the block! Draw your bows! (Draw your bows) Ra keshama som hakitu Valhalla’s waiting for you (Lift your swords) Na sisali dinmi tuo And Odin will write your epitaphs Wa di Ganti atona zo Father Christmas of death commanding soldiers whose souls are sold held in his hands Infantryman’s innocent blood is sold by the gallon as a luxury brand They’re symbolized by a reversed cross, so we need the new crusaders for the glory I will see the dawn of the dusk time Ragnarok will ends and starts my story We have science and great conscience Jerusalem knows King Arthur should’ve been the law Ten o’clock! Look! Smash the flock! Lift your swords! (Lift your swords) Ra keshama som hakitu This time we will (Draw your bows) Na sisali dinmi tuo Complete the new Tower of Babel Wa di Ganti atona zo Green turned to red! Fluid oath is being shed And trees turned to torches My harvest mellow fruits scorch “Run away, quick!” said Frey “Don’t let them (Don’t let) Ra keshama som hakitu Burn your own house” (them bur your house) Na sisali dinmi tuo Said Brigid Both were hand in hand Wa di Ganti atona zo
7.
Chasing mighty light, I was chased by the fire Is here the ruin of the old and young soldiers’ dream? The field I can aspire? It is just up to me which one I can make this green under the blue After all my callow germs will be again snatched in the wind In my soul my swallow squirms around in unhatched eggs behind Erosion of my emotion just hinder mellow and birth If you blend many kinds of colour, there only gray is left Out in the green! Swans dance, roses bloom like mad but cry
